ATTORNEY BIO

Mr. Long focuses on estate, tax and generational planning for high net worth individuals including business owners, key executives, dentists and physicians. He also assists family business owners with governance and succession issues, transactional matters, and related areas of taxation. He has advised clients with formation, entity selection, capitalization and governance structure of start-up businesses; and counsels closely held business owners with buy/sell, succession, estate, and personal taxation matters. He serves as outside general counsel for clients operating as corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies; and advises Directors/Managers on governance issues.  In connection with private wealth and estate planning clients, he prepares wills, grantor trusts, insurance trusts, generation skipping trusts, pre-marital agreements, residence trusts, and family limited liability companies and partnerships. Mr. Long also represents and advises trustees and beneficiaries in trust related matters.
